Candlelight Tour of Homes

This is a bi-annual event. We will See you in 2024!

Grapevine's Historic Township will showcase a variety of beautiful historic homes and buildings during the Candlelight Tour of Homes.

Guests on this annual self-guided walking tour will have the opportunity to learn about the histories and renovations of each of the homes and buildings and speak with the property owners during the event. Docents will also be on hand to answer any questions.

The Candlelight Tour of Homes starts at Ted R. Ware Plaza, 206 W. Hudgins St. Parking is located behind the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau and throughout Historic Downtown Grapevine. Each participant receives a guidebook and a complimentary wine tasting.

Founded in 1844, Grapevine is the oldest community in Tarrant County, Texas. Settlers made their way to the fertile black soil of the Grape Vine Prairie and found good water, game and the nearby timber resources their families needed. Today, modern "settlers" have found Grapevine's Historic Township provides a rich, exciting quality of life and is a great place to call home. Quaint, historic homes from the 1880s to the 1950s make up most of the Historic District's housing.
